Water to Wine Combine the fun of a Ducky Kayak trip on the Verde River with wine tasting at the Alcantara Vineyards and you get the idea…the best of two worlds. The Classic Water to Wine tour begins with a one hour Ducky Kayak trip on a scenic stretch of the Verde Valley River with just enough chutes and riffles to add a bit of excitement without ruffling any feathers. Your Ducky Kayak trip ends in the shade of giant cottonwood Trees where you will take the gravel path up through the vineyards to the Tuscan farmhouse at the Alcantara Vineyards for your wine tasting delight. The Alcantara Vineyards is a favorite on the Verde Valley Wine Trail featuring award winning wines and friendly sommeliers who guide you through the tasting. The Wine Tasting room inside the Tuscan Farmhouse overlooks the vineyards and the rolling hills beyond. The Classic Water to Wine Tour features great photo ops, fabulous scenery, abundant wildlife, and excellent wine. You even get a credit for purchasing wine or gift shop mementos. The Classic Water to Wine tour is truly an unforgettable experience.

You have two choices for joining up with the tour. You can meet us at Alcantra Vineyards which is where your Water to Wine Tour ends so your vehicle will be there waiting for you. You might enjoy more of the wine tasting experience while you are there! Here are directions to Alcantara Vineyards. Or, you can request our shuttle to pick you up in Uptown Sedona or at hotels and stops along Route 89A in West Sedona approximately one hour before your launch time. Verde River Tour
Cruising down the Verde River in a “Ducky Kayak” is a blast! These inflatable kayaks comfortable, unbelievably stable, easy to paddle and just plain fun for everyone! You will discover a whole new world while gliding down the serene waters of the Verde River, the only ‘Wild & Scenic River’ in Arizona, in your safe and stable Ducky Kayak. The Verde River is an incredible wilderness of spectacular canyons, verdant forests, brightly colored wildflowers and a multitude of wildlife including mule deer, beaver, river otter, great blue herons, red tail hawks and golden and bald eagles, and the Sedona Adventure Tour company is the only company taking regular tours down this beautiful wilderness. Interspersed with exhilarating chutes and calm floating pools, the Verde River is the perfect river experience for folks of all ages. No experience is necessary for this safe and relaxing float down the gentle waters of the Verde River. Your guide will assist you with basic paddling techniques and Sedona Adventure Tours will provide all of the gear you need to make this a truly enjoyable, memorable, and safe adventure. Single and double boats are available to accommodate families with children and adults of all sizes. Included with your river adventure are snacks and bottled water. Tubing Madness
The fun begins when you meet us at the Beasley Flats Recreation Area (get a printable map and directions here) on the lush Verde River where you will board our shuttle with all your gear and head upstream to the put-in. Then the adventure begins! Shuttles depart every fifteen minutes. We provide the tubes and water cannons for those epic water fights as you ‘leisurely’ float downstream! Our Verde River tubes have a nylon outer shell with a net bottom. Tube rentals also include life jackets, helmets and water cannons. Expect to get lots of sun and very wet! The float takes from one to two hours depending on river conditions, so you can do one or two more runs if you arrive early enough (between 9 & 10 AM). Sedona Adventure tours will also shuttle you and your stuff to this fun in the sun adventure. Available 7 days a week from Memorial day (5/27/12) to Labor day (9/5/12). Essential Information:
